Overview
The brief
Halvö started as a newsletter and grew into a print journal with a loyal group of subscribers. Each issue had been designed by whoever was free that month. They wanted a format a small team could keep up for years.
What we made
We designed a modular layout with three page types and a strict colour rule: black, white and one tide colour per issue. Long reads get generous margins and nothing else. Issue six was the first to sell out before it went to print.
